You travel about 2 miles from the campground to get to the road that enters Chaco from the South. We were very glad we did not take our travel trailer to Chaco. Both the North entrance road and the south entrance roads are about 20 miles long and very rough.
Our site was sort of level and with leveling blocks was great. The sites are separated by a good deal of space so it is like you are camping alone. We loved the silence and the remoteness.

Beautiful location, close to Chaco, quiet and safe. The owner could not have been nicer. Wonderful 2 night stay and would return in a heartbeat!

The owner/host is very friendly and great communication for arriving and setting up. There is small off-grid bathroom with sink, toilet and hot showers and two cabins. It is quiet, spacious, with expansive views. Dog friendly and excellent ATT coverage in an area that otherwise has pretty spotty service.
