This is our favorite place to camp in the fall. This campground is in a prime location for lake/river fishing, berry picking, off roading, hunting, kayaking, photography, wildlife viewing, hiking. – His and Hers Alaska

With a name like Meat Cove… This private park sits almost at the northernmost tip of Cape Breton Island. You’ll need to head out about 8km of washboard gravel to reach it, but it’s worth it when you get there. – Adventures of Dave and Ann

Quiet and serene, the campground is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake and its natural settings. Great place for birding or fishing. – Cisco

This unique state park is the former site of the Scaroon Manor resort, a place for the big city rich & famous to come recreate. The campground is well laid out with lots of space between the sites. Even full, it’s peaceful. – Technomadia

There is plenty of boondocking in the snowy range area, and the views can’t be beat. This site is the best in the area, although a little difficult to reach if you have a big rig. – David Kingham

We camped here at the Legion Lake Campground and it was awesome. We saw bison walking through our campsite every day. The sites are very spacious and not too close to neighbors. – ketah777

Instead of staying on the large, crowded, reservoir, we enjoyed our very own river-side camping spot, huge trees, and lots of privacy. – Van-Tramp

Dead Horse Point is an International Dark Skies Park so stay up late to see the Milky Way then wake up early to see the sun rise over the Point- you won’t regret it! – michelle

This was our first visit to this state park and we were pleasantly surprised how beautiful the landscape was throughout the park! – Tumbleweed

We absolutely LOVED Pemberton and this provincial park. Really large spaces with a few on the river. You can hike straight to Nairn Falls really easily from the campsite. – madelinelemon
