Water park was busy, but the boys had a great time. Bike/walking trails are nice.
The amenities section lists 30 and 20 amp. All pedestals have 50/30/20.
Price I noted includes tax and $5 on line registration fee.

We made reservations two months in advance of our trip to this state park and even then I was only able to reserve a site with electric and not full hookups. This is an extremely popular campground and it was full or close to full every night, even during the week. That said, it didn't feel crowded and our fellow campers were respectful of quiet hours. Sites are large and level, the bath house is clean with hot showers, and we enjoyed watching the birds that were nesting in the bushes behind our site. While the park has many amenities (bike trails, the aquatic center, and more) we were in the area visiting family and only explored a small bit of what Prophetstown State Park offers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; this was our favorite campground during our 2-week, 8-state trip!

Beautiful state park. Super nice staff. Campsites are glorious - level & well kept! Water/ dump stations are really nice. Lots of amenities we didn’t have a chance to take part in - pool/ water slides, great trails, historic educational things. Can’t wait to come back!

There are tons of paved bike paths not only in the campground, but leading all around the park. There are many playgrounds located throughout the large park. Tons of hiking trails of varying difficulty too. There is a working farm village with animals to pet, all open to the public. During the summer there is an AWESOME aquatic center with water slides and a kid zone. It is never very busy there. Love it!! It feels like the best kept secret. Can't say enough about how much we love Prophetstown State Park.

This is a Five Star campground in our opinion and was one of THE nicest that we stayed in during an around-the-country trip this summer - 2020. The campground is in the 2,000 acre Prophetstown State Park which is located at the confluence of Tippecanoe and Wabash Rivers...... a site of historical importance. There are 2.4 miles of bike trails, and also 2+ miles of hiking/walking trails, as well as an aquatic center. Most of the individual camping sites are large, level, and have lots of trees surrounding the site to provide privacy and shade. The restrooms/showers were immaculate. Our FHU site #167 was quiet, and reasonably priced for $30. The grounds around the park are beautiful and we wished we had stayed longer than just the 1 night. We stayed in a 27 foot travel trailer. Highly recommend!

Can’t say there was much of a view, but we were only there for an overnighter while traveling East.
The gate attendant waived the $8 per vehicle access charge (which would have made it rather expensive), so that was appreciated.

This is a great addition to the Indiana State Park Family. This park is located along the Wabash River and the confluence of the Tippecanoe River & the Wabash. This park celebrates the beginning of the tallgrass prairie. There are 110 nice level sites. 55 are full hookups and 55 are electric only. The 100 sites are nestled in an old Christmas Tree farm and each site has full hookups and is has vegetation that gives each site nice privacy. The 200 numbered sites are on the prairie and offer a great prairie view. All sites in the park are well taken care of and the park is kept in great shape. There is a great paved bike/walking path that runs through the park. 5 hiking trails, an aquatic center ($5 per person for the day), a working farm you can visit, a visitor's center and an Indiana Village.

They were clean, dry, and level. We were here for a week of camping with our siblings and their spouses, and we all enjoyed the peace and relaxation. We rode bikes on the bike trail, visited the historic farm, and spent plenty of time at the aquatic center. There is shopping and dining not too far away. The park was easy to access and the drive to the camping section was beautiful. The whole park was clean and the staff very helpful. We camped in a 32' travel trailer and had no problem fitting into our site. We will definitely camp at Prophetstown again.
