"Exploring "

This is a nice spot, the road going in is bumpy in some spots. Some down hill grads that could be challenging but doable. It is busy and a lot of day campers. I would recommend 4X4 as some of the hill out have ruts and will be needed to take at a... Read more

"Very clean"

Just wanted to give an updated review. Camped for two days. First day I rode all of the ATV trails. Nothing spectacular to see but nice to get out and ride. Day two was spent in Roswell at the UFO museum. It was well worth the $5. Everything in... Read more

"Best site on Tally Road"

Tally 1 is too close to a commonly trafficked road. Tally 3 & 4, although on the Rio Grande are very silty and dusty. Tally 2 is perfect. There is a great 360° view of Mariscal Mountain to the east and the valley to the west. There is a... Read more

"Beautiful Gem in Southern Arizona"

My fiancé and I (and our pup) had an amazing stay at this campsite. It was quiet, peaceful and clean. We were able to find a perfect spot to set up camp. I wish we would have stayed longer. We will definitely be coming back! If you don’t have a... Read more

"I think it was alright "

We parked here during February and I guess it just wasn’t the best time of the year. It was chilly at night but daytime was alright. Very windy when we came for all the 6 days! Limited amount of people and only electrical hook up. Water tasted... Read more

"Quiet and Relaxing"

Wide open and plenty of room. Everyone intuitively keeps a safe distance from each other. Contrary to some others complaints regarding phone signals, coverage is good. Maybe we were located less than 500 meters from 95.

"Gravel Parking Lot"

We were hoping to see prehistoric tracks. In talking with a hiker he said you had to hike for at least 1 1/2 miles up the trail. As my husband is disabled, the trail was too difficult. The road coming in had 2 major dips that were from washouts. ... Read more

"Peaceful"

Went on a Saturday night and once I got out to where the gps took me, it was only a couple more minutes to find a flat spot in the woods on the right side of the road . You would not want to do this if it has been raining or is expected to rain-... Read more

"A great place to pass Winter!"

We spent the Winter here; 76 days to be exact. We chose this LTVA out of all the others because it’s the least busy. When we arrived in Dec it was at about 15% occupancy and remained this way for weeks. It started to pick up at the beginning of... Read more

"Great free camping with some facilities"

This is a great spot for a night or two. The camping sites seem to be behind the equestrian arena, next to the open (I.e. no doors) bathrooms. There’s a shower, but it seems to be cold water only. The campsites also have water and power. There’s... Read more
