Zunino-Jiggs Reservoir

Nice sites with picnic tables, grills and stunning mountain views. No bugs during our mid-May visit. Clean, well maintained pit toilets. One bar of T-Mobile if I walked out to the main road.

Thought we had found a place we could stay a couple of days to rest up and let our dogs have room to explore, unfortunately our dogs were being bitten by something that left red marks on their bellies, we packed up and moved, red spots went away with a couple doses of Benadryl, we suspect it was fire ants. Beautiful place otherwise. We stayed on the right side of the lake, there were 5 - 8 campers on the left side, we were all alone except for one or two trucks coming by to fish, I think. Had a clean pit toilet, we were near waters edge. We didn't get to visit the infamous Jiggs Bar 2 miles away as it wasn't open when we left at 9 am the next morning, maybe next trip. Did have to get creative to level camper. We have Google Fi phones, no service here.
