Zion River Resort is a delightful place to camp while exploring Zion and the surrounding area. The park is well run and well maintained. The bathrooms/showers are some of the nicest and cleanest we've seen. We've come to expect reduced service in the off season but that was not the case at Zion River Resort. We will be back for sure!

They have a pool, playground, on site grill that serves homemade ice cream. Only 20 min drive to Zion- easy to park in any parking lots near the enterence for $20/day then take the free Springfield bus to Zion. Springfield is like a small Sedona with cute and independent shops. The RV park offers ride to Zion- drop off 9am and pick up 3pm for $7/round trip per person. They also have nightly activities for kids, like making birdhouse or watching movies. WiFi was good- didn’t have a problem.

We stayed here in early June and it was hot! We purposefully booked a place with full hookups so we could have AC- it was 100 degrees! The utilities here were great- we use a surge protector and it never went off and EVERYONE was running AC.
Normally we stay in campgrounds which we prefer, but there are occasions that call for an RV Park. This was one of the nicest we have stayed in. From reservations to check out everything went great. We initially booked a back in site which was all they had available- and we were going to have to move in the middle of the stay, but an employee knocked on our door and asked if we wanted to move to a nicer pull through site for the remainder of our stay because they had a cancellation and they saw in their notes that I had wanted a pull through!. We were very pleased to move to a pull through spot as it had grass and was roomier than the back in.
This park is close to Zion and to town so the location is very good. They have a nice store, laundry, pool and hold some kind of activity planned each evening. Very charming.
We enjoyed our interactions with staff and volunteers and would definitely come here again.
They are doing a great job at Zion River Resort!
We didn't have good cell coverage (Verizon) and the WiFi worked sporadically but we enjoyed the down time.

Our site was beautiful. Each site has a stretch of manicured, soft, lush grass that you can walk around in barefoot. Hookups were easy to set up. We set up our little mat, table, and two chairs and played scrabble into the evening. The location was superb if you are going to hike in ZNP. The boyfriend has T-Mobile and had cell reception there. I have Verizon and also had cell phone reception. The bathrooms were clean though very limited, as the toilet and showers were in the same rooms. So if you had to use the toilet but not the shower, you better pray that everyone isn't showering or else you'll be waiting for awhile.
The 'dog park' was underwhelming to say the least. It was a very small fenced gravel pen with no shade, no benches. If your dog is highly entertained by sniffing the perimeter of fencing over and over, this'll be great. For us, it sucked.
Overall, the park was clean, well run, and we felt we had a resort-like experience.

There's a lot to do in ZNP and this is a great base. Grafton ghost town is a fun side trip.
The price is high but you can see where the money is going. The grounds are immaculate and there are a lot of amenities. The laundromat was really nice with double sized washers for $2 and the game room with a pool table for $.50/game was an added bonus.
Connectivity was great with ATT voice (very slow data) but non existent for Verizon. They do have a booster in the rec room if you have to make a Verizon call.
The campground wifi was the best I have seen at a private RV park.
Cable was good but I had to use a signal booster to get a decent picture.
The staff was extremely friendly and it was easy to tell they take a lot of pride in the park.
Try to get a river site to avoid road noise.

Each site had a fire ring and a picnic table. Did I mention how great the staff was? the only down side, which isn't a down side for me because I don't need phone or internet, is the Verizon cell service was non-existent. My friends had AT&T and the had a good signal.

The place is quite pristine, clean and well presentable. The staff are friendly, and the facilities along with the pool to be modern, clean and not that crowded even when it was close to 90 degrees. The only point to think about is that the campground is next to RT 9 which leads to the park which is about 15 miles so it is a bit noisy but not annoying. Normally, I stay at BLM, national and state parks so staying at a RV is a rarity but great to discharge the tanks, laundry and charge up the batteries.
