Overall Rating

We were lucky to get a spot here over Labor Day weekend on our way to Edmonton without reserving online in advance. Literally there was only one spot left at 8:30pm on a Friday night! I would recommend going to reserve.albertaparks.ca ahead of time if it’s a busy weekend. The campsites were large and had fire pits and picnic tables. There was fresh drinking water available, and they had showers and running water in the bathrooms. There was also firewood included. Loads of hiking trails and a playground for kids. It’s on the lake so there is a boat launch and people were fishing. They had 15amp and 30amp sites for RVs but we didn’t stay at one of those. Our site felt secluded but it was loud due to how many people and dogs were around. I would definitely stay again and it was worth the price!
