Why are so many of the reviews stating that this is a FREE campsite? Very misleading.

The out of pocket expense for a Thousand Trails Member to camp at Yosemite Lakes RV Resort is zero dollars in most instances. That is why you'll see zero dollars in the daily camping fee field on Campendium. It is pertinent to note that Campendium automatically the zero dollar amount to the word free.

If you have a membership to Thousand Trails it entitles you to camp for free up to 2 weeks at a time. The membership isn't cheap and their campgrounds are not always top notch. We received a membership when we purchased our MH. When we were travelling the west coast I found that it was less expensive to purchase a year's membership and stay at a few of their campgrounds.

Most likely because they are using their Thousand Trails membership. No cost to stay there for those memberships. That would be my thought. Lots of membership CGs are free for members to stay.
