Upon arrival, my kids wanted to visit the water park. All 3 outdoor pools were filthy. The kids zone wasn’t much better. When we first arrived the buzzer for the water tower wasn’t on. Apparently, they turned it on once we started playing. It startled my daughter, and she hit her head on a pole, busting her eye open. We ran to the store to ask for help and we given ice cream. We then went to the front office looking for help and were given an ice pack and told she’ll be fine. She has a large gash. We went back to the store and got steri strips, thankfully, but it looks like she’ll have a scar. The staff couldn’t have cared less. One worker in the store told us it HAPPENS ALL THE TIME, yet Jellystone does nothing about it and they appear to be desensitized by it. I’m appalled and disgusted. Went to do laundry and the room was also filthy. Water slides are dirty also. They charge a premium for “waterfront sites” that are nothing near the water and the river is disgusting. Beware and do not stay here. Save your money and your children’s safety. Not a family friendly location.

My kids loved the jump pillows and the ninja course. We bought little Razor scooters at Walmart down the road and then zipped around the campground easily. Our site was somewhat close to the road so you could hear cars at night but nothing that kept me awake. We had a couple of nights of rain and the water ran off into our site and left a layer of mud on the pavement so I’d not recommend our specific site (119).
We went into San Antonio one day and down to Corpus Christi another day so it’s a good jumping off location.
Kerrville is a cute town with plenty of restaurants and shops.

We love that with the monthly stay, there are no extra kid fees, which makes it affordable for our fam of 8 (currently. lol). TONS to do - waterpark that is included in camping fees, indoor heated pool (ruined our suits, so wear old ones), ,tons of activities like rocket launching and crafts, jump pad & pillow....maybe our favorite tho is walking down to the river to wade/swim; it's gorgeous, peaceful, and relaxing. We've decided a month (at least) here every winter is a new tradition! (we were in site 145, and it ended up being a lake, but they brought us a pallet deck, and say they will fill it in when we leave)

This is one of the nicest Jellystone parks we have been to. It is currently under construction while they build the water park, so we had to overlook the mess of that, but they are certainly working very hard to make this park awesome for families. Once the water park opens in the summer it will be amazing! The mini golf course looks brand new and it is so nice, and the newly paved red-carpet campsites that back up to the Guadalupe River are beautiful. Those sites have very nice fire pits and new grills going in. There is a good amount of space between sites so you don't feel crowded, and behind the site you have so much space for the kids to run around and play. The jump pad was behind our site and our kids loved that! There are also 2 playgrounds, swings along the river, and an indoor pool and hot tub that we enjoyed almost every night. We travel fulltime and always appreciate a campground that allows us to have packages delivered, this park did allow that. We also work from remotely and need Verizon coverage; 4G data worked well at this park. The staff was very friendly and laundry was reasonably priced. I can't say enough good things about this park; it's definitely one of our favorite Jellystone parks and it looks like it will be even better once the water park is complete.

For a quick stop--need to dump, stock up, and refill--it's good. But they charge for WiFi? Luckily my Verizon coverage was just strong enough to hotspot in. AT&T was essentially nonexistent. The list of rules was pretty long. Nothing unreasonable, just LONG. I suppose for a kid-centric park, that might be necessary. But: a wristband? For a couple of grownups that aren't going to play mini-golf?
Dog walking areas were fine; not huge, but okay. Our site was close to the road so fairly noisy, but there are sites in the back that would probably be quieter. We don't really care about road noise, we cared about an easy way out in the morning.
Taken individually, all the categories for rating here are good; but altogether, the lack of free WiFi and an indifferent welcome made us glad we were just in-and-out.

Friday night at their onsite saloon. We were in the area to visit the area wineries and this was a nice location for that. The restrooms were very clean. You do have to pay $4 per night if you want cable.
