I arrived a little after 5:30pm to find registration office was closed. The pool, hot tub and kiddie pool were out of service. The grass was not cut at my designated site, calf high. Picnic table not even at my site. The camp store staff was no help when I inquired about receiving a refund due to pool closure. Long story short, I received a voice mail later than evening stating I could choose to cancel my stay and receive a refund due to pool closure. Better business would have been to have that communication stapled to my check in packet. I left after getting the voicemail. I wouldn’t stay here unless there are future reviews commenting on improved management and maintenance. Entirely too expensive for what I saw.

I don’t recall having been in a site so unleveled like this one
The internal are destroyed
There is a mini golf that may have been amazing many years ago but haven’t been maintained since it’s conception
The WiFi is really bad. Don’t pretend to work from here, even when the park was almost empty
The cell phone signal is really bad too. We have Verizon and T mobile
We left the trash outside as they asked but nobody pick it up
Though the kids didn’t mind it the not so well maintained mini golf. They really enjoyed the amenities and playground.
If you pretend to visit Chicago, this is not your place. It’s really far far away

Our site was beside the pool area with all the amenities. I don’t recall being in a site that was so I level like this one. The internal streets where destroyed. Oh and don’t rely on working from here. The WiFi was so bad. Really bad and cell phones worked pretty bad too. We have Verizon and TMobile
On the other hand, kids loved the place. They didn’t care the not so well maintained mini golf, they enjoyed it anyway, and they liked the playground
Though I won’t stay here again, besides it was very far from Chicago. If your plan is to visit the city, don’t do it at this place
