A pretty pond and lots of trees and places to walk our dogs. There is a dump on site but it is a bit of a challenge for a large rig but doable. We will make this our half way stop when traveling to and from Ruidoso.
Thank you to the city and county for this very nice place to stop for a night.

Nice, quiet spot in a well maintained park. Very clean. Ducks and turtles in the pond were fun for our kids. There is a sign that says no tent camping- and we saw a few RV electric and water hookups. We were the only one camping there on a Saturday night.

This is an amazing spot for a stop over. Very nice for the town to supply some sites with water and electric, for free! Nestled between a golf course, ball diamond and park with a duck pond and playground.

This little park is a bit of an oasis in western texas. The park features large trees, a duck pond with (hungry) ducks, a little playground and some picnic tables. Park is adjacent to a golf course, so there are cars coming through and a variety of grounds workers. We spent the full three nights and nobody ever asked us anything or bothered us. The "sites" are not really campsites, rather you just park parallel to the parking lot perimeter where there are power boxes on the large power poles and water hookups buried in the ground. Water was chlorine-y, but we're not complaining about free hookups. There is a dump station although it's fairly discreet. Depending on the wind, you can sometimes smell the oil, as the park is surrounded by oil fields. AT&T signal wasnt super fast, but was plenty strong enough to send and receive large files. We would definitely recommend this as a stopover if you've traveled a long way with a small child...the ducks and playground were wonderful after long travel days.

Right off 214 in Denver City, TX. Easy pull in along the yellow pipes. We had no trouble with electricity, used our progressive surge protector to be sure. Peaceful and nice area. Highly recommend.

One other camper, it was quiet, has free electric(bring an extension cord might need it depending on other campers location), water(in box underground that needs to be dug out), dump station. A duck pond and near by golf course. Overall a good spot to stop in the sparse panhandle region.

Arrived early evening on a Saturday. The 3,350' elevation produced a noticeable difference in temperature and humidity from Dallas.
There was one other RV present when we arrived, and I think he was taking advantage of the municipal golf course adjacent to the park.
There are five or six spots. The first two power poles I checked showed open ground on their 30 amp plug... but we eventually found one that worked for us. There were also some 50 amp available as well.
We really like the park, pond, and tall shade trees. This place is like an oasis in the middle of nowhere. We would definitely stop here again! Thank you Yoakum County!

I've stayed here many times. Everywhere I stay I'm careful, with my dog. I don't want others scared of her so we always avoid people and dogs!!! But tonight we went out to pee and she was attacked by two large dogs!!! They have no leash rules there. So be careful with your pets!! Pretty bad to just step out to let her pee ( on a leash)... more
