I actually felt funny walking down the side of my RV cause it felt like I was intruding on my neighbors. They are basically right next to the KOA, like three houses over type of close. Not much in options in Billings, so they get you! Lots of permanent folks in the park, with full everything, but I’m sure they aren’t paying the same rates. After good Sam discount, $88 a night for Electric and water, while they say they have great WiFi it barely works. Lots of noise equipment and maintenance between 7:30 and 8 am.
It’s a clean park with a pool we didn’t use, same laundry we didn’t use.
The full Hook up sites over $100.

If we had neighbors we may have felt crowded but we didn’t and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We used the laundry, 4 washers and dryers, 1.50$ for each. The facilities were nice and clean.
Each bathroom had a shower and toilet and you used a code to enter.
The grounds are very well maintained and the flowers are beautiful.

We stayed in a cabin on two separate occasions. Just traveling through to pick up a cargo trailer. We typically travel with our 5th wheel. Anyway, cabins were clean and so were the restrooms. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Try the huckleberry ice cream bars in the store. They were yummy. Our first night there was a food truck I think it was Sways red hots? Chicago style hot dogs-delicious. On our return trip, the food truck that was supposed to arrive never did. It was stormy so that might be the reason. Since we didn’t have cooking facilities, we looked forward to the food truck. Not the campgrounds fault. The campground was busy our first night and not so much the return trip (Friday vs Wednesday).

We chose this park because it was close to the repair shop that worked on our coach. The repair was completed just before 5:00 PM and we didn’t want to drive any further than we had to. The park is located not too far from I 90 right along the Yellowstone River. There is pavement all the way including inside the park. Signage is adequate. Check in was completed by filling our info on an envelope and dropping it in a slot. There was no personal interaction. Payment by CASH only (off season). The rules are fairly basic.
Our site, 27, was a gravel based pull through that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30/50 amp only) was to the extreme left rear. My “extra long” cable just barely reached so I didn’t have to disconnect the towed. Distancing is super close even for an urban park. There can be NO privacy as the park is laid out using the “buddy site” system. You face your neighbor. The opposing unit’s power will be at the extreme front. There are no tables or fire pits as I doubt there would be room for them when the park is busy. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was a drab graveled parking lot. Other sections may be different. We did not walk around to check.
There appears to be park included wifi but we were not given a pass code to be able to log on. There is no cable TV but we did find a number of OTA channels. Satellite should not be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers nor did we check for condition.
There are many permanents here and it seems all with a diesel pickup that start and warm up early in the morning.
There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We believe this park would not be a pleasant place during the busy season. It would be overly crowded. There has been no attempt to beautify this gravel parking lot. We paid $35.00 CASH for the night and we feel we received poor value. We will be never be back.

Since we were only staying 1 night and it was late already we just made do with this setup, but paid less since it was not full. Park is a decent size, but the sites are pretty small. Everything was closed and no one was around to get help from and they did not have an after hours contact available. It is Dec and cold so I understand why some things did not work but the lack of help or # to call made it frustrating. Noise from the hwy is pretty loud too.

The park also has some very nice, treed, sites with ample space. There is a playground, small pool, laundry facilities, restrooms and showers, and a store with some basics and many components you might need to provide your rv with water, power, and waste water management. The park is clean and appears well cared for. You can walk about a quarter mile on the nature trail to the Yellowstone River.

The campground is well maintained, and good for large rigs and trailers. The thing that stood out the most about this campground was the extra effort they gave us. We are 75’ long and the owner took us to our site to make sure we got in our site easily, even asked one of the other campers to move their car to make it easier for us and then he meet us the morning we were leaving and helped direct us out to avoid any tight spaces. He definitely did not have to do this but he just wanted to make sure everything went smoothly for us. I would highly recommend this park and will return if in the area again.

Do NOT stay here!! The sites are 99% shared sites. You walk out your camper right into the neighbors. The owner is a nasty awful person. The pool is cold and small. There are ZERO extra activities. Stay at the KOA!
