One redeeming factor was close to Yellowstone! Way to damn much for cost!!!! They over charge by a lot and give very little! It’s a good campground but the price causes me to give it 3 stars!

We stayed her during our cross country trip from NY so see Yellowstone so we wanted a place closeby. It was about ten minutes to the Westgate entrance of the park. The sites were very cramped and no wifi . Other than that, we were very pleased with the campground. Their amenities made up for some of that frustration.
We had a back- in with water and electric but it was a tight fit for our 24ft trailor w/slideouts and we had nowhere to park our truck without the front end being on the neighbor's site. There are pull thru's there (not available when we booked), but again, not very big. Our site was close to the back row, pretty close to the highway, so consider that noise if you're a light sleeper. That's why our noise rating was low.
They had amenities that we enjoyed...a little coffee stand outside, an outdoor restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, laundry facilities, playground, miniature golf and they fill propane if needed as well. The propane took a long time (about 20mins to fill one tank) but it was convenient to have. There is a very small fenced dog park if you own a dog. The dumpstation didn't have an open spicket to hook up a hose for our black tank flush valve, just a small hose to rinse your sewer line. Overall, we were happy with this campground and would stay again.

Many of the sites were NOT level - and even though we used leveling blocks I would ensure that I came prepared for uneven campsites. Also - while the park advertises "Big Rig" friendly - I watched several Class A motorhomes struggle to get into and out of the sites.
The next time we go to Yellowstone NP we will probably look at other RV camping options.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A problem with our new Victron Lithium system forced us to abort our cross-country trip to Toronto, Ontario and find a full hookup site somewhere a few hours away from Bozeman, MT, so we decided to visit Yellowstone and the Tetons! We called a few hours ahead to determine if there was availability, and to our surprise in the height of summer, there was a site available for the nights we were there! Overall while we were happy that we had a place to stay, we would not camp here again as the sites were cramped and difficult to back into, though of course I will admit that it is still better than a parking lot RV park.
Next time we'll plan ahead better and make reservations at the dry camping national park campgrounds within the park.
Pros
- Availability, Location, Strong Verizon signal with external antenna (-65dBm ~ 5 bars LTE).
- They seem to have every imaginable amenity, if you're into those things.
- Grass and tress between sites.
Cons
- A bit cramped in the back section of the park, and difficult to back into the spot if there is a vehicle in the opposing site. With our SUV we still had to pull partially into the parking strip of the site across from us, and another person with a large pickup truck was inches away from swiping my SUV when backing up into his spot across from us.
- Cramped parking on your strip - you basically just park on the grass - many people don't understand that they need to park OFF the main road, so pulling out of your site is a pain too.
- Holy moly $67/night?!

Our site #89 was perfect! Seriously, if you have a big rig, like privacy and don't mind hwy noise we had the most ideal spot. It is located right on the corner of the park and you can back up pretty much as far as you want. Beats any of the pull thrus I saw throughout the park. Our spot only had w/e hookups but there are 2 dump stations on the way out of the park so we didn't have any issues.
Since this park is so close to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park the turn over rate is insane. Every night we had a new neighbor so I would suggest booking in advance if you want a good spot for a longer stay.
The staff were all extremely friendly, they have dinner and breakfast everyday, the showers were fine, they make homemade fudge served in the front office, tons of Yellowstone gifts in the front and fire wood.
Like I said the place was packed while we were there and it being a KOA of course the pool was too. It is indoors, heated and pretty big with a hot tub on the side. Minus the crowd, we loved it.
