We stayed here in our 38’ motorhome. We had plenty of space in our level campsite. It was shady, had cable and good Wi-Fi. The staff was great!

We would stay again if in the area. Staff helpful and friendly.
Showers and bathrooms very clean but showers need a shelf or shelves in them.

The campground is definitely oriented toward groups staying for longer times. We were toward the end of our trip and booked a dry camp area with the reason that it would be away from main area and we would be able to walk our Great Dane without bothering too many people. The walk paths are not well defined and you must not walk over the whiffle golf course areas which were not easily defined. Lovely area with trees for shade. I guess I would say read ALL the rules. Quiet time was until 9:00 a.m. and about rule 25 you find out you cannot run your generator. They do have free washing but no dryers and it was pouring rain.

Square dance group meets in camp host facility. Nice location close to Missoula and enroute Lolo Pass. Best sites are 66 & 64. You might consider the dry camp sites that are also on the river as they are private and huge. Check out the excellent campground map on their website.

Ok enough of the bad, Free washing, wonderful roads and trails for walks, had no issues from management with our dog on walks, very quite, neighbors nice, square dance watching was fun, lots of raining days, management picking up pine cones daily. Will definitely when in the area stay here again.

Beautiful heavily wooded older campground with tall trees. Walking trails with river access, current is strong in most places. Surrounded by tall hills on most sides. Very clean landscape. Pine cones fall frequently, but someone picked them up daily.
Under new ownership and making improvements.
Owner was nice and office staff were friendly and helpful.
One groundskeeper was very friendly, another one was not so pleasant.
Cell service barely usable with Verizon and AT&T.
T-Mobile was unusable. Usage of a cell booster is required if working remotely.
Wifi was good in the mornings until about 9-10am, but sluggish in the afternoons and evenings. New equipment coming soon I was told.
Laundry is outdoors and covered, no dryer and no charge. Newer washing machine worked well. The two older units weren't very good and had to redo wash in the better unit. Laundromat in Lolo closes at 9pm and in Missoula 10pm ($0.25/6min).

Plan on using the clothesline for drying your clothes. Laundromat is close by if you choose.

This is a very nice RV campground. It is neat, clean and very spacious. The sites are spread out over a large wooded area. During our stay it was extremely quiet, with little traffic. The nearby highway was far enough away where the noise level was very tolerable. There was no square dancing during our visit but it would have been fun to watch. Our site was level with working hookups. We had plenty of privacy and space. The staff was very efficient and friendly. We will stay here again when ever we are in the Missoula area. It is one of our favorites.

“Ridiculous Dog Breed Restrictions ”
noted 7/28/2023
If you have a Rottweiler, you can't stay here. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and sweet, but the owner has an ignorant rule restricting certain dog breeds even though you are required to keep your dog leashed at all times anyways.
