I was tent camping. Before I could even set up I had to walk down and back up a muddy revine which had tree roots sticking out. The view at the site was beautiful. In the middle of the night I had several people sit in site 1 smoking pot. You could smell it and they woke me up. I was scared. Next morning I did go to the office a... more
I was tent camping. Before I could even set up I had to walk down and back up a muddy revine which had tree roots sticking out. The view at the site was beautiful. In the middle of the night I had several people sit in site 1 smoking pot. You could smell it and they woke me up. I was scared.
Next morning I did go to the office and ask for a refund. She did refund one day and I left early.
The bathhouse was dirty. I would not take shower there! Thank goodness I had my own potty in my tent.

Overall Rating
Poorly maintained, several of the available sites were very uneven. Reason we selected is that we were driving Cades loop and were too tired to drive to Gatlinburg. Bathroom was pretty dismal.
