We stayed for 2 nights in early June 2022 in our 32 foot travel trailer. Basic campground, no frills, Full hookup site (some weeding could have been done in that area) , perfectly level, paved with paved patio and picnic table. No fires allowed. Dumpster at end of campground. Sites in middle are angled pull thru easy in and out with one way drive. Plenty long enough for our total of 60'.
Campground bath house has AC and was decent but a little worn out in shower area- could have been cleaner. Laundry room was good and we used it, reasonable pricing and clean. Folks in the campground were not very friendly, some appear to be long termers perhaps on assignment to base. Camp host was visible and friendly. No other amenities, no pool, club house, playground, bike rentals, etc. Grounds of the area adjacent to the campground itself were beautiful (see our photos). Sadly there is a very bad lack of maintenance of the dock area which were submerged and roped off not to be used. There appears to be rental pedal boats and kayaks for the pond through the Rec Dept. We did use the commissary but it was smaller than most bases we have been to.
NOTE: be aware when you are coming onto the base, you must register first at the intake center building which is to the left road and parking lot from the gate you are told to come in as an RVer. The guards will direct you. This is if you have not ever been to the base before, or not in the last 3 years. Any non military have to register then RE-register every day you are on the base. This is the first time we have encountered this. Not a huge deal but can be an issue if dont plan for it. If coming in after that office closes, evidently the guards at the gate can do the registration pass on site but be prepared to pull off and wait for it to be done.
We loved the location of this FAM camp to be so close to the National Museum of the Air Force which is FREE and a MUST SEE if in the area! We spent all day and did not see all of it. From the Wright Bros planes to the Space Shuttle in real life (not reproductions!). Really cool was the Air Force 1 presidential planes you can actually walk through. Cafe is lousy, bring a picnic lunch and eat in the memorial garden park just outside the entrance to building.

Extremely helpful staff. When we arrived, only dry camping sites were available, but the staff/host were able to move us to a full hookup site when a late arrival guest delayed till the next day. Lots of mature trees and open grassy areas. Definitely would stay here again.

Stayed here for two weeks in a 40 ft. Class A. The sites were very level, clean and well groomed.
The entire experience was as if we were in a high-end commercial campground. WIFI was excellent, as was ATT, The camp hosts were over the top in service and information, I wish all our stays could be as excellent as this was.

Excellent facility with plenty of sites. We have a teardrop trailer and we’re very happy in “dry camping” area ($10). Wide open field with picnic table and no neighbors while RV lot was full. Bass lake has fishing, showers were clean and tidy. Laundry area $1.50 to wash and dry one load. Staff was great. Use gate 12a for entry.
