We came after Labor Day do nothing was allowed in the water. Large park with large spots, just beware of those poles/posts and your slide room.

This park is about 10 minutes from the town of Oakdale. We stayed in #49 on Hackberry flat and had lots of room for grandkids to play. It was so quiet and peaceful during our 15-day stay. We would definitely stay again.

Disgusting campground in every aspect. When checking in at the gate upon arrival, staff was not welcoming. Probably because they are embarrassed they run this campground. We asked about any information we may need to know during our stay and the lady gave us the number for local law enforcement if things got too crazy. We were very confused as to why she gave us local PD number as we have stayed all over the country and never had this happen. It became very clear during our visit why we may need them. This campground is one big party at all hours of the day and night! Loud music from several campsites (during the day and even at 1am), 3 large dogs running around without a leash all over the campground, trash EVERYWHERE, disgusting bathroom/showers…the door is literally rotting off the hinge and cobwebs look like they have been there since the building was erected, I could go on and on. Dog poop left in several campsites that we saw, all sorts of trash that you could think of from cigarette butts, beer cans, beer bottle tops, toilet paper from the sewer drain, food wrappers, I mean it was BAD! Showers had graffiti all over. Several stray cats roaming around. Lake is disgusting although people were swimming. I would never go out of my way to stay here again.

Our 42’ 5th wheel fit perfectly in one of the overflow spots which just happened to have a gorgeous view of the lake. Full hookups worked just fine until the electricity went out for an hour around 8pm. Other than that, we had a very relaxing, albeit short stay at Woodward Lake.

This is definitely better than a lot of “resorts” where you are stacked in. I felt like we had a lot of room in our pull thru for our 31’ airstream. Full hookups. Good Verizon. There are a lot of geese so they do poop everywhere. Seemed to be less at the Muir sites and those were right on the water. We were able to ride and ride on our bikes in the park and got in 15 miles! Everything is mowed and well kept. As the weekend got closer, there was more noise at nighttime. But overall a nice place to stay.

Nice little campground. Sites were alittle close but very nice atmosphere. Will try T-Island next.... Family friendly, nice paved roads for walking and biking. Lots of dogs too. The pond was filled with trout. Did catch 1 which was the highlight of the stay!

Online reservations secured us a rate of $48 for 2 days, since hubby is 65> and a vet. Rather tight accommodations but saw bigger rigs than our truck and 30’ fifth wheel in a few spots. No water contact allowed at the reservoir after September per irrigation district. Excellent Verizon coverage but few OTA tv channels. Noisy neighbors but probably because we were here over Veteran’s Day and a holiday for some. Nice place to bike along parts of the reservoir on paved road. Would stay here again.
