Stayed here for one night. Reservations were made online. This campground does not allow RVs older than 2010 into park without prior approval from staff. Newer RVs do not need prior approval. RVs older than 2002 will not be permitted. SCREW IN SEWER CONNECTION IS REQUIRED FOR SEWER HOOKUP. If you are a 50 amp rig, you must reserve a 50 amp site. Adapting down will not support A/C units.
Campground roads are mostly gravel, but no major potholes. Lots of mature trees and grass throughout the park. They had both pull through or back in sites. Some sites back up to a creek.
Campground had a community fire pit, restrooms, coin operated showers, a laundry room, and propane. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Laundry room was also nice and clean. Washers were $2.00/load. Dryers were $1.00 minimum to start (8 minutes/quarter). You could add additional quarters to extend drying time. Propane was conveniently located right near the office. Cost was $3.29/gallon.
Upon arrival found a note on the office door saying they are in the park and have been notified. Sure enough, the staff met me at the office promptly. Check in was quick as I had already paid online when making the reservations. Escorted to campsite. They will help back you in if needed.
For a private campground the spacing seemed very decent. Site #19 was quite level and plenty big enough for our 37 foot class A and Honda CRV. Site was gravel with a concrete patio and picnic table. Fires are not permitted within individual campsites. Community fire ring is available for use. Free standing propane fire pits are allowed in individual sites.
There was some train noise, but very infrequent.
Had 3 bars LTE for Verizon. Adequate for talking, texting, searching the internet, and streaming videos. Park did offer wifi, but I did not use it.

Located right in the town of Libby, but you are still in the woods and on a little creek. Super convenient. You are greeted at the office by a sign proclaiming this to be Redneck Country. The office staff was friendly and helpful, guiding us and helping us back into our site right on the little creek. We were delightfully surprised to see and attend a Gay Pride festival going on at the park without too many protesters. I think the excessive heat of the day burned up their zeal. The campground has lots of grass and the sites are very nicely spaced, about 25-30 feet between most. We could hear the babbling creek. Good internet and cell service. The campground looked to be about half full on a weekend in early July 2023.

We were supposed to only stay one night on our way to Glacier NP. Had a bad fall that afternoon (in my rv). Bad injuries. One of the camp hosts was a nurse and came to see me right away to assess the damage and what to do. She phoned the local medical center to make sure they had an ER open on a Sunday. Checked on me when I returned. Everyone was gracious and they were able to leave us in place for the second night since we missed our drive time. The park is small and pretty; Right on HWY 2 but the noise was not noticeable and extremely quiet for an early morning walk. Spaces are a little tighter than we like but perfectly fine for a private park. Its proximity to a great hike to Kootenai Falls and the Swinging Bridge was a plus (fortunately we went there before I fell.) NOTE: The hike requires scrambling over rocks and big tree roots and a climb of 64 steps in a tower. (On the Swinging Bridge, not the Falls portion).

No mention of the cost in any of the literature. I also didn't like reserving a spot online and then needing to pay an extra 10 dollars if you wanted to guarantee that spot. Huh?? Too much Nickel and dime stuff. Wouldn't have irked me as much if the place wasn't a little pricey to begin with. If the shower stuff doesn't bother you then add a star.

The owner is a tool and clearly doesn’t know how to handle an ounce of conflict or criticism. You can read other reviews and see I’m not the only one. It is like he is immature or insecure. I’ll come back to the area, but won’t ever give another dime to this guy.

I checked voltage in the box I hooked up in and only has 103 volts that’s to low to run my AC should be 110 volts. So they need to do some Electrical work to fix the problem. Talked to office and was no help. So I had to run my generator the rest of the time. It was 100 degrees out so needed AC. Other then that the park is nice like the rest of the reviews say.

Really interesting entrance sign – it’s an Airstream with the name of the park printed on it. Lots of other creative artwork and murals sprinkled around town. Pretty cool! Great – and I mean great – ACE Hardware store – who would have thought? The park itself has lots of trees and some shade in a majority of sites. It’s an attractive park, and they do a good job of upkeep. The one odd thing is they use the back of a truck for trash, and it’s a bit of an eyesore. The interior roads and sites are gravel with an occasional strip of pavement in the interior roads. It was tight getting into site 30 with a 45 foot MH due to trees and tight turns. It was barely long enough for the MH and toad as we shared an entrance with the site next to us. Our site was not level side to side but the auto levelers handled it fine. Most sites have concrete patios but ours did not – why? Spacing varies from close to nearby. There is no privacy. The bathrooms are dated but clean. Nice sized and clean laundry area. WII FI did not work well but we had good Verizon coverage (4g 3 bars) so we used our hot spots. Satellite is possible depending on the site. It was nice backed up to the creek, and we spotted deer several times. There does not appear to be public access to the creek so people were liberally walking into other campsites to get to it. Even the sites backed up to the creek don’t have a maintained trail. They need to fix that. The park is on busy Highway 2; however, we were towards the back and the road noise was negligible. Not sure about the sites closer to the highway. The major downside – and it was major for us – are the train whistles during the night. They are loud and woke us so often we were pretty drowsy during the day. In spite of that, we enjoyed our time in Libby and had fun hiking, boating and drinking beer at the local brewery.

Don't go there unless you have a screw-in RV 90 degree sewer ground connection. They will make you buy one if you don't have it. It is their campground, but frankly I wouldn't stay there again if I was paid to. I've been RV'ing for nearly 35 years, and I've never had to have a screw in connector. That's right, 35 years of never having to use a screw in adapter. I consider myself a very polite man. But, the manager kept interrogating me like I was a criminal because I didn't know if it was threaded or not (it was). I had one exactly like the one they were trying to sell me. After he established that I was a moron for not knowing, he left, and I told the girl behind the counter, I should just leave, she assured me "he isn't normally like that." His insulting and demeaning attitude alone is enough for me to write this review of this otherwise decent campground. So, to top it all off, when connecting the black tank hose to the ground sewer, the "threaded adapter" didn't even thread into it. He came by to check to see if the moron could figure it out. He realized THEIR sewer pipe wasn't threaded anyway. He did a halfway apology, and left the spot, but by then, I'd already decided his attitude was unacceptable, and not worth staying again, or ever...
I'm quite polite, and non-argumentative, I can't remember being treated like that since US Army Basic in 1972. Why would I want to repeat that experience again?
Perhaps your experience will be better.

Woodland RV is a quiet spacious place to stay. Restrooms are clean but they charge .25 cents for shower. That is not a big deal though. If I was staying again I would checkout Memorial City Park before going to Woodland. The City Park charges $10.00 and doesn’t look too bad.

“NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS”
noted 8/14/2023
We were on on way to Woodlands RV Park in Libby from Thompson Falls, MT, when the friends we were traveling with had the misfortune to hit a deer on MT Rt 200. Luckily no one was injured however their brand new (driven one day) Class B Van's front end was destroyed and the van was totally inoperable and had to be towed from the scene. Fortunately for them, we were not too far behind and were able to gather all their belongings and bring them back home to Kalispell. We called Woodlands RV Park to cancel both our reservations and request a refund because of circumstances beyond our control. The gentleman my wife and I talked too was totally unsympathetic and basically said tough luck "you booked on-line and the policy is very specific" - there are no refunds. What a lousy way to run a business.
On the plus side, RV Resort at Indian Springs Ranch in Eureka, MT was very sympathetic to our plight and refunded both of our reservation fees for the following night.
