Bring your kayak of float tubes. The water is great. Crystal clear with plenty of stocked trout to eat. Dry camping only. Vaulted toilets and water. Tight spots. However, there are so very many places to pull off and camp along the road, it shouldn't be a problem. During the day it can get busy but I have never seen this place full. There was a time when the local Jeep clubs would go up here and ride the trails and it was very busy. But since the ban on everything motorized, not many go here. Tons of old trails, too many to count or map. Plenty of awesome areas to fish, with flies too. The lake has hybrid cutters, brookies, and a few non hybrids..all trout. All good to eat. Below the earthen dam there are a few other ponds that were once larger. The earthen dam is still there. Mostly all stocked cutts in this area. Below that its near entirely brookies. Bald eagles frequent this area. Not uncommon to see them dive to the water and pluck out a fish. At least once every 30 min if not more.
