Witcher's Cove Campground

Beautiful location on the west side of Eleven Mile Reservoir. No water at this campground. There is a hand pump water spigot at the Howbert Point Campground down the road, but no way of pumping it into tanks. So come with tanks filled. You can fill them up on the other side of the reservoir...but it's about a 15-20 min drive to get there. Cell phone service was spotty, but generally available. Access to lake was great. Bring your kayaks, canoes, etc. The marina on the other side of the reservoir does rent these. This campground would be awesome with electric hook-ups and access to drinking water. Solar panels worked well to re-charge battery. The wind does pick up occasionally, so be prepared. Pros: clean lake, views, spacious campsites, firepit, picnic table, vault toilet nearby. Cons: terrible washboard road to get to campground, no potable water at campground, dump station had no water, site had trash, debris, dog poop, etc when we arrived, so it appears as though there's no camp host on this side of the reservoir, vault toilet was nasty and hadn't been cleaned in awhile.
