“Great trip - cut short due to the Creek Fire”

Reviewed 9/7/2020

Nightly rate: $39
Days stayed: 3
Site Number: 10
Overall Rating

Site 10 was a good spot, convenient to the lake, Miller’s Landing, and the restrooms. The roads are fairly narrow so getting my trailer into the campsite was a little difficult but we made it in with some help from our neighbors. The campground was packed for Labor Day weekend but it still remained relatively quiet at night and in the early morning.

It was a great trip until the Creek Fire started spreading a little to close for comfort. We truly hope this area is spared from the wildfire.

“Beautiful lake and comfortable surroundings”

Overall Rating

We stayed at the Wishon Campground on Bass Lake with our 18’ trailer. The lake was full in June and a beautiful blue color. Our campsite number 30 is a double site. It’s a pull through, but there are 2 trees and some posts which make it difficult to maneuver. There were also about a thousand cut dead trees piled up behind the campsite. But they are far enough away it didn’t bother us. It’s also great if you have a dog who likes to chase balls like we do. There’s lots of room for them to run. And very private. It’s close to the boat launch and to Millers Landing to buy hamburgers, supplies and to rent boats.
There are bathrooms but no showers. You can shower at Millers Landing. There’s no hookups, but there are water faucets across the street. There is also a dump station for $10 down the road. We had a picnic table and fire pit.
