This was a nicely maintained camp ground, where sites had lots of room. We had full hookup which was nice, and the proximity to the lake was nice with a trail around it. We were looking for an overnight place to stay and to knock out a little work during the day before we moved onto our next destination further South.
Our challenges were as follows:
-I booked online and never received a confirmation email, but I took a screenshot to be safe.
-Morning of I called to confirm reservation, which they confirmed. I was going to be arriving late (10pm) unfortunately, but asked what late check-in process I should follow. I was told to go to the main gate keypad and follow the instructions, they will let me in from there, and my packet of info (including gate access) will be on the clip on my site.
-Arrived at 10pm, and the intercom system was challenging. You are able to get through to their off hours people, however the phone hangs up after about 30 seconds, so the operator is asking me a question on my car make, and the system hangs up. We did this for a little, then eventually the operator took my number and called me back. She then said she would raise the gate, said thank you and enjoy my stay (she was very nice, no complaints with her), however the gate did not open. Had to call back through intercom again, then have her call me back, and I explained the gate didn't open. She tried again, nothing happened. I said I could just run to my campsite and get my packet of info to which she agreed. Walked to my campsite, no packet (of course). Walked back called through intercom, had her call me back. She was very apologetic, but she ended up getting a hold of the ranger who would come help. The ranger arrived 5-10 min later and let us in. He was very nice, and very helpful, and very apologetic. Unfortunately though this in total burned easily 45 minutes trying to just get into the park, which then put us at almost 11pm for setup. After a 6 hour drive that day, getting held at the gate for 45 minutes was tiring.
My only other feedback is that at the site the sewage dump was built up a bit high from the ground, right on level with my camper's plumbing out so it was tricky to dump. Probably not an issue for bigger campers with slide outs as things are higher, but on mine it would have been nicer if the dump point was a bit lower to the ground. I was able to dump my grey which I wanted to do, just was tricky is all.
If in the area I would stay here again as I understand their entry system is somewhat in transition (I later found out about). The staff was apologetic and friendly, just a rough check-in for me and my family after a long day/night.

We enjoyed our stay here. A nice and woodsy comfortable gated campground hidden away in the city of Cincinnati. The weekends were crowded, however once Sunday evening rolled around it was very calm and almost empty. WiFi was spotty but we were way in the back. We used our personal hotspot most of the time. We did leave the site and fire ring cleaner than we found it, however it wasn’t so bad. Would stay again.

The WiFi rocked at our site! It is right next to a tower if you’re looking to use their WiFi camper near 4. Facilities are nothing special but definitely get the job done.
What a great vibe here with plenty to do. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to camp here again someday.

The park is beautiful and the sites are very spacious. The ACOE built the lake but turned the campground over to the city and it's very well maintained. Bathrooms and laundry were clean. There is also a long walking path right outside the campground that goes around the lake. There is kayaking, canoe and paddleboats, among other activities. It's also close to Planet Fitness and Kroger. We will definitely visit this park again.

Our site was shaded and quiet during the week. On the weekend the golf cart crew arrived and the tweenagers spent the rest of the weekend going round and round on the camp road.
The shower house was clean, shower stalls were a bit small, the water was warm.

We've stayed here several times going and returning from trips to New York. The staff is friendly and courteous; sites are concrete pads with picnic table; clean bathhouse; numerous OTA channels. Wonderful paved path around a small lake that we could stroll around and give our dog exercise.

While 22 looks like it would be great on the map and the website photos, it's kind of awkwardly placed, so I wouldn't recommend it. Our site was electric only, but there are plenty of nice FHU RV sites as well. The campground has a nice picnic area, community fire pit area, lake access, trails, laundry, & snack bar. If you're not a resident and have a tow car, be prepared to spend a few extra bucks for a car pass.

What a nice a campground. GREAT bike and walking trails. Lots of lakes. Big sites, wide open. Not a ton of extras but what they had was nice. 30 minutes from the Creation Museum (great idea, over priced) and 30 minutes from the Ark (see previous comment).

We stayed for three nights in 30 amp electric only site. Had to fill water tank and were directed to spigot near bathrooms. Had to use a lot of hose to reach it and water pressure was poor, so that took a full hour and we blocked all bathroom parking to do so, which we were not comfortable with, but that was our only choice and where we were to fill. Site was gravel pad and not terribly level. Fire pit was full to the brim with ashes, so we couldn't have had a fire if we wanted to since no one ever came to clean it out as in other campgrounds where we have stayed. All of that was livable until the third afternoon. Our 30 amp power kept tripping. Luckily we have an EMS. But, it was a hot afternoon, so we reported it to the camp hosts at the office and were told there was nothing they could do; they could not get an electrician until the next day and it was just a drain from all of the people using it. Since this is a county campground, I'd say they need to have electricians and plumbers on call to fix things for their guests. All of the employees and hosts, while pleasant, seem to be barely working and not keeping the campground up considering how many of them are around. The price above includes a $14 annual fee they collect in addition to your camping fees. This campground is not worth $33 night considering the issues and lack of water and sewer. It is in a pretty sketchy area, but thankfully is gated 24/7. In fact the front of the campgrounds and camp store are very nice. Need to invest more $ in actual campground upkeep. Probably would not stay here again.
