Booked last minute for the Sunday and Monday of Labor day weekend.
Got site 71 which was pretty shady. There looked to be a lot of no shows as there were other sites open.
Bath house near site needs a lot of TLC and more regular cleaning.
Fire pit at our site hadn’t been cleaned out.
New picnic table with extra length for grill was nice.
Plenty of room for our 22’ TT
Generator hours are 8-9a and 5-7p. I think one more time during day.
Couple RV water fills throughout. One dump station but we didn’t use.
Very quiet in the evening for a busy place.
Gorgeous views and good proximity for visiting Freeport and Portland.
Weak AT&T signal. There is a cabin with WiFi but we didn’t use it.
Woman at the gatehouse was delightful!
Just felt $35 + tax for dry camping was steep after staying at a W/E site for $44 a night in Bar Harbor with more amenities and better cared for.

Sites are close together but it seems most sites hade good foliage between one neighbor and not much between you and the other neighbor. Since it was a stormy weekday we did not have a neighbor.

One of the prettiest places we have stayed. Our spot had great solar and a large living area. Yes, the bathrooms can certainly use updating. Close to town of Freeport, home of LL Bean. Went for lobsters at Harraseeket Lobster Hut, very good. Went for a hike at nearby Wolfs Neck State Park.
Very peaceful with gorgeous views.

Arrived in the evening and found several sites open. The staff was very nice and helpful. The grounds and facilities could use some care and updating. Quite stay.

Regret that only 1 night was available. But, that 1 night was almost a full moon. Quiet, lovely experience. We dry camp about 50% of the time, so no need inconvenience. Cost is as high for dry camping, but we splurged. Grass parking, but it had been dry recently. No issues with 40’ Class A
Lobster at Jameson Tavern was yummy!

Lovely walk along Casco Bay as well as a trail through the woods. The only downside was how unlevel my site was. I was able to get my trailer level with some maneuvering. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay.

This is a dry campground with various water stations and a single dump station. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are warm. The "Tea House" is a small cabin with indoor seating and wifi. The wifi was good enough for 3 people to have videos calls. The cell service is hit or miss and we were not comfortable working there with only our Verizon phones.
This is a fairly quiet campground at night and was pretty busy during the day. There is a day use area with a large playground, picnic tables, grills, and parking. There's also a boat ramp, boat parking ($4/day, $10/night), beach, and outdoor pavillion.
Generators are allowed for the following: 8-9am, 11-1pm, 5-7pm. Bring your solar panel to keep your batteries fresh during the day.

We've camped at Winslow Memorial Park twice and plan to do so again. The park is well maintained and the views are spectacular. There's a nature trail around the park that makes for an easy walk. All of this located within convenient travel distance from many activities.

Stayed here one night at the end of August and found out my neighbor next to me had Covid. Management did nothing to keep the other guests safe. Asked me to leave because they didn’t like my questions.
In the end they protected the guest with Covid and let her use the public restroom and showers. Would stay far away as possible!
