Overall Rating
Stayed here while training for the 1/2 Ironman that’s held in September. Site was level, had a fireplace, and was clean. Rigs over 25 feet would likely have a hard time navigating the campground as most of the trees have low limbs and are very close to the roads. The roads are also very rough. The water pump was broken the days I was there so there were no restrooms or showers. I camped in a tent so it was quite acceptable for me!

Overall Rating
Our large family has camped here annually since 2005 and we love it more all the time. The location is ideally suited for exploring the High Peaks region, Lake Placid, venturing over to Vermont, or just hanging out at the Wilmington town beach. Although close to the road it is very quiet and used by the most respectful outdoorsy types. The people working here are very helpful and very quick to respond to issues. The scenery is amazing. You can hike down to the river or take a short drive to many wonderful places.
