The rest stop seems nice enough and wasn’t too busy when I was there mid day on a Monday. The island where the RV dump was still exists but the dump has been cemented over and all has been removed. The only thing left on the island is a couple trash cans.

Clean rest stop and bathrooms for the night. Easy off the freeway but loud as it’s so close. Sanitary dump was really dirty (toilet paper all over etc) so we didn’t use.

But the rinse hose does not have a fitting, it’s just a rubber hose end; we could not flush the black tank, but I’m not complaining about FREE.

This is a clean dump station, at the exit from the rest area. I suggest parking in the truck lanes first and walking over to see if it's clear, because if you drive up and find it occupied, there is not really anywhere to stop and wait in line, because you have to cross over the exit lane from the car parking lot. This is a clean dump station, at the exit from the rest area. I suggest parking in the truck lanes first and walking over to see if it's clear, because if you drive up and find it occupied, there is not really anywhere to stop and wait in line, because you have to cross over the exit lane from the car parking lot. The only issue is that it slopes considerably to the right, so you cannot completely empty your tanks.

We we're moochdocking with relatives in Willows and were pleasantly surprised to find this free dump just north of town. It was clean, easy to get in and out of and had rinse water. We we're moochdocking with relatives in Willows and were pleasantly surprised to find this free dump just north of town. It was clean, easy to get in and out of and had rinse water. No trash at the station but I assume there are receptacles in the rest area. Beware, it's easy to miss the dump as your leaving the rest area. It's literally on the ramp back to the freeway and if you don't see it, you're on the freeway. California has been closing these rest area dump stations due to contamination, trash etc. Clean up after yourself, folks.

There are actually 2 free dumps located at the Willows Rest Area off the I5, one for northbound and one for southbound. Both dumps are located at the end of the rest area right before the ramp to re-enter the freeway. There are actually 2 free dumps located at the Willows Rest Area off the I5, one for northbound and one for southbound. Both dumps are located at the end of the rest area right before the ramp to re-enter the freeway. There is a separate fresh water fill hose as well, although there are no signs indicating if the water is potable or not. Unsure if the water is shut off in winter but it was still on when I was there in late November.
