Hello from Ohio, my wife and I are going to be in this area July 9th & 10th - do you think there will be plenty of places to boondock?

Absolutely there will be room. It's hotter than hell at that time. I was there at the end of July, beginning of August and that dispersed camping area was practically deserted.

There are plenty of spaces down that road. It is a first come basis so you will just have to look around carefully.

Yeah, considering it most likely will be over 100, chances are boondocking will be plentiful there. Also even during busy times, there's always room to squeeze in. Enjoy it though as likely this is the last year to boondock on Willow Springs with the new State Park going in in that location.

Yes, you should have no problem. July is a slower month for Moab because of the heat.

Well that depends on if you want privacy or not. Lol people come and go. Usually 8- 9 am is the best time. There are spots off the main road if you have the ability to make it. A little ruff but doable. First right of the main dirt road.

There should be plenty of space but be sure to scout out the locations with your car/bike before you head out to the far reaches off-road. Enjoy!

There are plenty of spaces, though It is first-come-first-serve. It will be very, very hot then.

As others have said, it will be very hot so I doubt you'll have trouble finding a site to park. There was very little to no shade. I was there in May and it was busy but there were always spots to pull in to. Maybe share a larger area with someone but I don't think you'll have any trouble in July!
