Willow Pond FamCamp

We stayed here for 1 night. The woman’s bathroom was so dirty, no paper towels & trash can was completely full. There were no showers. I expected more for being in a military base. The Porto potty’s in front of the bathrooms were disgusting with worms in them.
The grass was tall all around the campground and the pond.
It was nice to buy groceries at the commissary and having so many food options so close by.

We stayed on base at Willow Pond RV Campground, at Fort Dix. Getting on base was a little tricky as we were told by the Route 68 gate to use the commercial gate and the commercial gate told us to use the Route 68 gate.

After that confusion was settled (and we used the Route 68 gate), we set up and enjoyed our site for two weeks.

I checked in at the MWR office and added our paperwork to the sign at our site. There are only 8 sites at the campground with a locked bathhouse nearby. There were port-a-potties located out front.

It’s an electric and water only site, but there’s a dump on site which we used regularly in order to do laundry.

We were able to use our Verizon phones at 2 bars, and with the cell antenna, Verizon had 5 bars and AT&T had 4 bars. However, Starlink was blazing at 150 down / 15 up.

Military RV Park on the Fort Dix side, only 8 spaces. Again, the weather was not the best with rain and winds when we stayed in early May. Commissary & BX were nice & close by, but we didn't venture out much after that due to weather. Ok place for a 1-nighter. Back-in sites only, no sewer, 30amp electric, water. Dump station. Rest Rooms (no showers) were locked and not opening until after Memorial Day. No laundry facility at campsite.
