Willow Grove Park Campground

Enjoyed our stay here at Willow Grove. RV spots are spread out so you're not right next to your neighbor.
Park is quiet and well kept. Right on the shoreline. Nice view across lake. Local police and city employees cruise through often. Nice walking paths.
Did not use local facilities but looked clean and maintained.
Rate paid is with senior discount.

This park would be great if they had someone working the gate. So much traffic and it felt like it went way later than 10 pm. It’s very clean and the sites are pretty level. The view of the last is really nice too. Unfortunately, our last night there someone stole our firewood bundle! Also, our neighbors rolled up on golf carts and let their kids ride all over out site. Very disrespectful. This would have been avoid had someone been there to monitor the place and access. We won’t be staying again as Hickory Creek campground across 35 was a much nicer experience, so if we need a spot in the area we’ll definitely be going there first. Also, dump station is near the middle school outside the park so had to drive our tote 1/4-1/2 mile up the street with a decent amount of traffic.

Nice city park with about 15 full RV sites and tent camping. No host but plenty of police presence. Busy during the day on a Saturday afternoon with a bit of traffic, but quiet in the evenings. Some shade in most spots. Abundant trash cans, but a lot of litter despite this. We were in town visiting family and this made a perfect meeting place for us. We would come back due to the convenient location to family and low cost. The dump station is not located in the park but down the road next to Lake Dallas Middle school.

Called and reserved site while traveling. Great campground on Lake. Sites are pretty level, close to water, have electric, water, picnic tables and fire pits. Dump station is nearby. Campground also has Swimming, volleyball, and playground for kids. Shower house had great water pressure and hot water. ( actually couldn’t get cooler water). Routinely patrolled by police and park people. Nearby restaurants were delicious! Ely’s Mexican grill and Lake cities Cafe.
