Overall good experience and will visit again if passing through this region.

Traveling north with our daughter and her boyfriend to Prince George (two RV's), our daughter booked us here. As we pulled into our campsite, the host was headed back to the front office and said "You must be the Stewarts, welcome!" While it is an RV park next to the Stampede grounds, it was clean, well maintained, and the host was very friendly and helpful. We had full hook ups and used their laundry facilities which were great. We found stores (all kinds) nearby with very helpful Canadians. Can not say enough about the positive Canadian attitudes. One of them even gave us a quarter to unlock the shopping carts before we exchanged money. The museum down the road was a nice stop as was the short hike we did near Scout Island Conservation Area. As we traveled back down from Prince George, we did stop at the local A & W for lunch. We wanted a root beer float but they no longer sell them (boo). We would still stay here again if traveling through.

We were very hesitant to stay since we were tent camping and it is mostly for RV’s, but they had a nice grassy area for tent campers and we were the only ones with plenty of space. Ended up being one of our favorite spots to stay on the way down from Alaska. Bathrooms were very clean as well!

FHU with 50 amp. Pull through and back in sites. It’s in the grounds of a horse race track. Clean sites. We took the last available FHU pull through and it was tight. Good for a night or two. Friendly host. Diesel, Starbucks and Tim Horton’s (priorities) down the street.
