Overview of Wiliwili Backcountry Campsite

Wiliwili Campsite is located along the Kukui Trail next to the Waimea River within the Puu Ka Pele Forest Reserve. The Wiliwili Campsite is equipped with a trail shelter and composting toilet. DANGER: Do not try to access the Wiliwili Campsite during stormy weather, the Waimea River is prone to flash flooding during heavy rain. The Wiliwili Backcountry Campsite is located within a designated public hunting area, wear bright colored clothing and stay on marked trails.
