Wildwood RV Resort

We were looking for a place just to spend the night before going on. Park was clean and the lots were roomy and easy to get in and out of laundry and shower facilities were clean a great bike path right there that you can go miles either direction only down Side that I could see was their pool is not an operation-didn’t have a chance to check out surrounding area, but it wasn’t far from the beaches

This was a nice base camp for us! It's a short drive to Tallahassee and the Gulf coast. Our favorite part about this park was the bathrooms. They were PHENOMENAL! You get your own little bathroom with a full shower, toilet, sink, the works. It was honestly the best showers we've seen on the road in the 3 years we've been traveling in our RV. They also have laundry which is pay by card or app only. It's a $1.75 a load and they have 4 sets of washers/dryers. Everything was kept tidy and clean from the bathrooms to the sites itself. The golf course was closed for renovation when we went but it said that they were reopening it this summer if you're a golfer. They also have a dog park that is in the middle of campground that was kept clean as well.

We aren’t golfers but this campground had excellent wifi, cable and cell service. About 1/2 sites are concrete pads rest are gravel. Restaurant onsite great food.

Interior roads are not paved so there is some dust. We visited Wakulla Springs and enjoyed exploring the area.

The sites were pretty full so I recommend advanced reservations but Michelle in the office is very accommodating.

This was the first place we went to after going full time with a 40' Fifth Wheel. It was perfect for working remote since there is a Verizon cell tower close by, next to the golf course. Wifi was only useful for emails. Our pad was very nice and looked new. We enjoyed have a good seafood restaurant (Sieneyard @ Wildwood) at the entrance. The beautiful "Coastal Trail", a 12 mile multi-path runs along the road in front. We made reservations for next Jan-Mar before we left.

We enjoyed our time here. The course is in decent shape, the staff is extremely helpful, the pool was nice. The only issue was that our site had a LOT of ants. They came up through the cracks in the pad as well as the surrounding grass. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. The bathhouse is unique in that there are four seperate rooms, each with a shower, sink and toilet. You have your own private bathroom.

We were headed out west on our full-time RV journey but got chased back to Florida due to the virus. We have family here so we checked into long-term stay campgrounds and came across this place. The monthly rates are very affordable, includes free golf (carts extra) for up to 2 people and some have concrete pads. They have cable TV, WiFi, pool, laundry facilities, golf course and a restaurant on-site which is only doing take-out orders right now. We have one of the best sites I think, very shaded. Everyone is very friendly!!!
