This is dry camping, pack it in, pack it out for trash. I used my starlink for internet, phone etc. The market in Pine Hill has your basic groceries etc. You are reasonably close to many attractions.
Looks like they are doing some improvements to the campgrounds. I would encourage people to give this a try if primitive/dry camping works for you.
Roger would stay here again

Be ready for a trek to get here, especially up the dirt road the last few miles BUT it's all worth it! I took my 26 foot class C RV up, just go slow.
I took the tour with Jamie, she was awesome! Answered all my questions and more. There are wolf-dog hybrids, fox, dingo and even singing dogs! What a wonderful place to visit and camp!
After my tour I paid to stay overnight. I do have to say the camping was less than impressive. It's dry camping (no hookups or facilities) but I expected that.
What I didn't expect is that there really wasn't many places to park overnight that wasn't on tall, dead grass. There's a circular camp area where you can park anywhere. I found one pullout right off the loop that was clear of grass and level. Later in the day 2 travel trailers came by and simply parked on the tall, dry grassy area. I don't know if my RV would get in there. Their website does suggest 4x4 to access the camping. I could access the camp without it but to technically camp you may need it if the one spot I got into is taken. I'd call first.
This sounds like a negative review but it's not, I had a blast and would have parked anywhere there to hear the wolves all night HOWLING! What an experience!! So beautiful!
Overall, I just have the one issue and that is I wish they managed the campground better. But the rest of the experience was amazing!!

There are around sixty animals here, wolves, wolf dogs, coyotes, dingo's, and new Guinea singing dogs. Not all animals are on tours as some do not react well to strange people and are kind of skittish.
The campsites and rv sites are primitive with no hookups but there is water available at a spigot if you have jugs or a bladder or water tank in your pickup bed. The rv sites are not fancy and could use a little love but we really enjoyed it. It's very quiet here but you can hear the wolves singing (Howling) several times throughout the day. We never heard them at night. The place is run by mostly volunteers and they are very short handed and they do their best. We came and volunteered for a month and loved every minute we were here.
The last 3 1/2 miles of the road in is dirt with several spots with washboard. Just take your time and you'll be fine. We did it with our 38' 5er and were fine. They are out in the middle of nowhere and its beautiful around here. Several attractions are right down the road. El Morro National Monument, Ice Cave and Bandera Volcano.
All in all this is a great place to visit and I would recommend it to anyone.
