We’ve come to Wild Frontier these past two winters and love it. There are lots of activities at the park and so many things to do within 30 miles. We’ve found that we have to limit ourselves or we’ll wear ourselves out! Both the staff and the campers become like family. The fee includes full hookup and cable TV with a cable box.

This was my 2nd stay at this campground. What else needs to be said??
If you're looking for a place in the area, Wild Frontier is a well-run, clean and welcoming place to stay.
The staff and fellow campers are friendly and helpful.

It was only a 15 minute drive to silver springs state park. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice campground and the staff are exceptionally friendly. They have food trucks come in, their facilities are nice and kept up as is the campground. We didn’t go swimming but the pool was nice and the water was warm. Very nice place to stay.

I read some of the reviews and the negative ones were carping about trivial items. You have about 12' on one side and 4' on the other of a standard RV, plus space to the rear. Plenty for me!
I appreciated having a spotter help me with backing into the site and was able to make it in one move.
They pick-up the trash each morning and have a busy schedule of social events at the clubhouse.
Granted the campground is shy on amenities like shuffleboard, pickleball and walking trails that some require but there is a very nice pool / clubhouse, propane service and laundromat.
The RV sites and roads are all blacktop so leveling pads are a good idea. An outdoor rug is needed as the patio area is grass.
Cellular connections for Verizon and ATT are strong but glitchy. Cable TV is a free perk provided by the campground, if you provide a $60 refundable deposit.
Ocala may not be a bonanza of touristy things to do but I like having all the amenities of a city close-by.
I have a 36' Class A with a tow-vehicle.
Special shout-out to Mary, Daryl, Terry and Kim which made my stay pleasant.

We had to do a last minute stop to break up our trip and this place was a gem. The bathhouse was immaculate and the staff were super nice. I would definitely recommend for a short stay. WIFi was awesome!
