We LOVE Hualapai Mountain county park, just down the mountain from Wild Cow Springs. On our last trip up (no trailer, just cabin camping), we went up to check out the road to see if we could get our "extreme" package trailer back there. I can say without hesitation that I wouldn't dare try it. We didn't even go the whole distance to Wild Cow Springs because we weren't 100% sure we were on the right road (we were), but the first half is pretty intimidating. Very rough, tight curves, and it would be impossible to turn around if you had to. So. If you're pulling a trailer, I'd pick a nice spot down at Hualapai Mountain park and leave this to the tent campers, or just take something with 4x4 and be prepared to use it.

Update: We were able to complete the road to Wild Cow Springs last summer, still without our trailer. As it turns out just past where we turned around the road opened up immensely. I suppose you *could* do it with a small pop up, but I would still be extremely hesitant as the first half has almost no margin for error. But, it's a primitive campsite tucked in amongst the trees when you do get back to the campgrounds. There were a handful of off road vehicles exploring as well, but there wasn't a soul in sight otherwise.
