Can you park a motorhome rv on this site for the night. I realize there are no hookups and that's fine. Also do you ...

Great pull-off location from main road. Like others mention, it's a small dirt lot with holes that can be avoided. Other car campers and a few camper rigs. No problems at all. No connections or toilet. Trail behind lot is wonderful.

Small parking lot- easy to find and use. Quiet at night. Nice easy trail head for exploring. Near a local farm restaurant/bar a cross street a little ways over.

The area is just off a busy road so expect traffic noise. There is a working farm across the road. Heard the cows, chickens, sheep/goats, a donkey and the farm dog barks all hours of the day/night doing its job. Fine to stay the allotted 5 days. Walked the trail beside the lot. It’s a nice easy level hike.Saw a beautiful sunrise and sunset while there.
Dog owners be sure to keep them indoors after dark. Had coyotes come in close by/into the camp area and the farm dog came right to the RV both nights, barking right at the door and circling the RV because of our beagle. Peed or marked it’s territory on the front bumper. Don’t know what kind of dog it was but am positive it’s a BIG dog.

The road is busier than one would think for this rural location, but it did die down some after dark. No problems here feeling safe. A good option if one needs a place for an overnight in this area.

It's basically a large pullout of the road. My neighbors walked down to the lake but it's currently dry. They didn't think it has had water for some time. But, it's free and cuts your drive to Chiricahua by about 1/3rd in case the campground is full. It's clean but has some road noise.

There isn’t much more to say than what the other reviews tell you. But we were surprised that, over 5 days, not many people used the spot. We felt safe to leave our rig while exploring the area. Very close to the road, so there is some road noise but that doesn’t bother us.

Easy to get to off I-10, had no issues pulling into the dirt lot in my 25 foot motorhome. Good cell reception, 3 other vehicles in the lot with me.
