“Lovely but be careful where you camp (legally!)”
Reviewed Sep 27, 2015
Actually I was a bit naughty and - seeking an open spot for solar power - ventured further W.SW of this location, and ended up out 'on the point' by the river bend (the reservoir was very low in September 2015). Was eventually evicted by Ranger, so follow her advice: seek a proper local area map from their offices, showing the roads where you CAN drive and camp! I think this was a lovely location (14 deer; bald eagles!) and would be even better at other times of the year with higher water. Meanwhile, access might be tight for a large rig, I brought in a 30ft 5th wheel (but from a different direction!); the proper way might be a tight squeeze.
