Location Is Good, Short Walk Through A Tunnel To Town. There’s Also A Hike You Can Walk To. Very Scenic Location. Porta Potties Are Clean But Never Had Toilet Paper In Them. $20 not very crowded when we were here near the end of June

Nice way to experience this remarkable little town. Basic, no frills setup. Just as advertised. Walk to the harbor. Excellent cell service.

This is not your ordinary Alaskan parking lot campground. Most site are divided by shrubbery and trees. They all seem to be fairly wide and some are big enough for big rigs.(like 12-15 sites) Most sites seem semi level. The road is made of crushed rocks and many pot holes to deal with and it’s not real level either, but drive slowly and it will be fine. It’s about 3/4 a mile to the “downtown” area. Oh, there is a large flowing creak and it’s always enjoyable to have it as background noise! Also one certainly can tent camp or car camp with ease
