I came here trying to grab a FCFS site. Found a site (there were tons), pitched my tent and then went to go pay fee. At this point the campground host rudely berated me for not paying before camping (why would I do that before I knew there was a site available?). At this point the campground host rudely berated me for not paying before camping (why would I do that before I knew there was a site available?). Then she gave me a $10 fine slip for violating rules. I just packed up my tent and left instead.

We stayed here around Oct. 21.
Host still there and was very gracious. Road ends at trailhead with good vault restroom.
We were the only campers, so very peaceful....just a few joggers and hikers and mountain bikers.
Nice sites....tables and firepits on cement patios.
Lots of deer.

I enjoyed my stay here. During the week it was pretty quiet, but packed on the weekend. It's very close to Provo and Salt Lake City. Most sites are shaded with Cottonwood trees and are pretty private due to the growth. Because it's easy to get to from the city the campers can be a little inconsiderate on the weekends. I enjoyed my stay here. During the week it was pretty quiet, but packed on the weekend. It's very close to Provo and Salt Lake City. Most sites are shaded with Cottonwood trees and are pretty private due to the growth. Because it's easy to get to from the city the campers can be a little inconsiderate on the weekends.
Many places to visit and hike outside the park and a horse trail and hiking trail at the end of the park at the trailhead. Note: I had difficulty turning my rig around (32'+Truck), but I camp at site 21 which is past the loop.
There is water available and Vault toilets. No dump for RV's.
Note: some of the sites are "doubles" and are $40.

Its a pretty camp ground and has alot of potential. It is sadley ruined by the extremley abraisive host. The host for 2021is awfull!

There are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups available at this location.
