We are here for the week for work, so wanted to leave a bit of a review about connectivity. I know some of you go to the woods to disconnect, but we travel for months at a time on the road and need to work.
For the remote workers:
-Starlink is a no go. Too many trees.
-T-Mobile is really good in certain spots. (I’ll put more about that below) You are better off putting the hotspot or device outside if possible to get the best upload. Download is fast both ways.
-AT&T is decent.
-Verizon is usable, but not near as good as T-mobile
We had to move sites because the one we were at originally did not have a good signal. (631)
We moved down to 633 and had a fantastic signal. Some of the other sites that climb up higher (604, 606) have a good signal also. It’s pretty empty during the week and the camp host and Ranger were super helpful and let us find another spot.
Hope this helps! Since we work on the road I want to start leaving reviews like this for our fellow remote workers. 😉
shawnsusanbrown would stay here again

Overall this is a nice place to stay. All the sites are very screened with good privacy. Many are overgrown with no clear spot to set up. We had a little trouble finding a spot that we could get level in. We ended up with the one and only electric & water spot which is $10 more per night. This campground is definitely set up more for tents and I would not recommend a large RV. All WI state parks require a pass which is $11/day for nonresidents or $30 a year.

Enjoyed camping there. Nice lake for swimming. Biking trails nearby. We had the only site with electricity in that loop. Pit toilets were kept clean. No shower facilities on site. Paved pad.
