If you have ATVs or dirt bikes, this is a great campsite. It's a long washboard road in. It's dispersed camping on the top of the ridge as well as down by the dry riverbed. There are dunes that lead into Red Rock canyons. There's also many trails that lead off from here into the desert. This is not a place to go camping if you're not planning on riding. It's too far from the road and there's lots of noise from the other campers. I was car camping but there were many people that brought in their medium to small size campers. I wouldn't recommend a fifth wheel down by the river. But maybe up on the ridge would be okay. It's just a long bumpy road to get back in there. Great views and lots of places to explore.
