Located on Hauser Lake. Spent five nights in our class A. This is a BLM campground. No water, sewer or electric. Each site has picnic table and fire pit. Pit toilets, beach for swimming and a great boat ramp for easy access to water. Quiet during the week. Next door is Black Sandy Campground which is run by Montana state parks. Yo... more
Located on Hauser Lake. Spent five nights in our class A. This is a BLM campground. No water, sewer or electric. Each site has picnic table and fire pit. Pit toilets, beach for swimming and a great boat ramp for easy access to water. Quiet during the week. Next door is Black Sandy Campground which is run by Montana state parks. You can use the dump station and water source there. Beautiful vistas and most days a very pleasant breeze. Two sites reserved for handicapped. Gravel on all sites except handicapped which are paved. Highly recommend this location.

Nice gravel sites on the water. Swimming beach and boat ramp. Was able to do some kayaking on the smooth water. Water available was non-potable during our stay, faucets have drinking symbol but then had sign saying non-potable. Two mile well maintained dirt access road to the campground. Water available was non-potable during our stay, faucets have drinking symbol but then had sign saying non-potable. Two mile well maintained dirt access road to the campground. Was able to get workable T-Mobile signal with booster antenna. Nice camp hosts.

White Sandy Campground near Helena, Montana is administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). White Sandy Campground offers scenic, affordable RV camping and a dry camping experience. In this video, I provide a tour of the White Sandy Campground and show you the best campsites. Cellular service for Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile were either nonexistent or the speed test failed due to weak signal.
