Here’s an interesting fact, in my booking I’m charged $9.25 for a fire permit. Even though I do not like campfires, and do not choose to have a campfire. I choose to come to the mountains to enjoy the cool fresh air. Instead, I pay for a fire permit so I can sit in the smoke that is 100 times worse than the city. What’s wrong with this picture?

Yes. On their reservation site, you can filter for the amenities you want. Caveat: the loops with numbers over 30, re pretty open and don't have many large trees. We chose a non-electric site, (loops 21 to 25) in order to be in a more private, wooded area.
