Whispering Willows Campsite

The campground is adjacent to the highway in a moderately forested area. Unpaved gravel driveway and sites. Cash only. Appears to be an older campground that the operators are trying to bring back to life. Restrooms old but functional and clean. Most of the hook-up sites were occupied by trailers that appeared to be longer stays, probably construction workers. Hookups appeared to be fairly new. A few tent campers too. Everything kept to themselves, very quiet campground, especially when the road noise ended after dark.Ther are lots of active little gopher/prairie dog type critters popping out of their holes and running around onsite providing endless hours of entertainment and frustration for our dog.
