Whispering Falls Campground

We stayed here in September, 2019. Sadly we have heard this campground burned in the recent fires... hopefully some of it remains, as it was incredible. Our Moon camping guide gave this a high rating so we thought we would try it out. We were there the last night before the CG closes for the winter months. The camp host was lovely - suggested we walk the loop to find our site. Site 4 is a long pull thru site - level enough and has a large walk into a "fairyland" tent area. Walk a little further and there is a river overlook, complete with an osprey nest on the other side. There is a beautiful trail alongside the river - complete fairyland. We loved every minute here and so hope parts of it survived the horrific fires of 2020.
