Arrived after dark. 2 tent campers and another 5th wheel already here. Large area for big rigs however only really 4 campers would fit. We were lucky there was one last space for us. Very quiet area. Washboard dirt roads for around 5 miles to get to here. The place is very maintained. Lots of wildlife. 2 bars LTE for AT&T.

Had a wonderful night here on a weekday in late May. Vault toilets right by the camping area, easy access. Fast T-Mobile!

Took a very well maintained gravel road back, camping area is big enough for any rig. The bonus is the many bodies of water all around making for great birding, swimming, kayaking or playing with the dogs. Tons and tons of room for by circle riding and space for dogs. Great job Missouri for providing such an incredible place to camp!!!

The camping areas are gravel and they are flat but not level. One of the quietest places I have camped. It’s about 3.5 miles of gravel off the pavement. During hunting season it might be busier as there were many notices posted for hunters.

Great spot to stop and stay overnight on our way through. Short distance off 70. Then about 10 min down a well maintained gravel road. Plenty of room for our 32ft 5th wheel. Nice level place to park. Vault toilets. Quiet and peaceful. We arrived early enough to take a nice bike ride throughout the lakes. Would definitely stay here again!

Just north of I70 at Williamsburg. From Williamsburg you have about 3 miles of dusty gravel. We drove right to the pin above. The pit toilet is there. That is mainly a tent area. Beautiful free campsite. It was a little daunting traveling at night up a gravel road but so glad we did. Warning. There is a shooting range nearby so you may see hunters. Beautiful wetland area with nice and free campsites. My high top Promaster van handled the roads fine, just took things slow.

Beautiful location for an overnight on our way from Illinois to Nebraska. We're in a camper van so really could have parked in any of the pkg areas but we decided to stay by the tent site area at the end of the road. About 5 picnic tables each with a firepit nicely spaced. There's also a lower pkg spot with room for big rigs that also has several picnic tables and fire rings. Vault toilet that hubby said wasn't too bad but suggests you take some cleaner/wipes for the seat. Nice trails to explore.
Entrance road is abt 5 miles of gravel but well graded and pretty level.
Note that this area is managed for quail, rabbit and deer hunting so might want to check hunting regs so you're not surprised by hunters.

When we woke up, we saw that we were amidst a lot of pretty little lakes. You could also hear coyotes howling in the early morning. It was a very peaceful and quiet nights sleep. There was one other person there, may have even been a patrol we heard drive in at night and leave in the morning. Toilets, no water.
