Beautiful campground with electric and water at each site. Also dump ststion. Very good cell service. Not too many trees so no issue using Stsrlink. All sites are gravel and appear level. Some pull thru

Quiet, lakefront sites. Strolled in on a Tuesday evening and found a site with no problem, booked on recreation.gov from our site using the incredible t-mobile signal here!
Long walk to showers no matter where your spot is, but there are a couple bathrooms as well.

A-loop was very quiet during the week with just a few campers. Weekends are full with several vehicles parking along the narrow road as well as campers that don’t respect the leash rules for their dogs. There is a fairly new restroom building on the loop with flush toilets.
Sites on the A-loop primarily have the door side of the RV facing the west which makes sitting outside impossible this time of the year due to the heat, at least until the sun sets.
Satellite TV users beware - there is a tree line opposite of the sites which could cause reception issues.
Internet speeds:
Verizon - 12.9/9.12
AT&T - 7.8/0.29
T-Mobile - 6.07/0.39

Verizon and att were intermittent and slow. At best email only. We would stay again.

Junction City is about 15 minutes away for groceries, fuel, restaurants, etc.
Only reason I give this 4 stars, not 5 is because the shower house is a bit of a walk from the campground loops.
Loop B was closed during our stay, but those lakefront Sites may be better than the A loop.

Caution for big rigs with tow vehicle…small loop at end of campground have to drive onto grass to make required turn around. Some camp sites are fairly level and others not so level although not terrible. Nice grass around the sites with great views of the lake. We parked our motorhome the opposite direction expected to park. This gave our windshield the lake front view vice the woods and campground road. We travel with a 30 amp extension cord and plenty of water hose. Always wonder why they don’t design the sites allowing for view of lake. Stayed three nights. Rate was $21 per night but 50% off if using a Golden Age/Access card. Big dump station. Was told the Corps of Engineers would close campground if freeze came, despite the 31 Oct closure date advertised.

There is a dump station and bathhouse (although it was not close to the camper sites). The sites were gravel and ours was level… others were not. The issues were the condition of the campground in general… lots of tall grass and weeds… trash in our fire ring… trash on the grounds. No one checked us in or at the gate. It was not up to the usual COE standards. It was a convenient location from I 70.
