This is a well maintained KOA, although the sites are very close together. They are expanding so maybe that will improve. There is a well stocked store next to the office and WiFi worked without issue.

The site itself was a back in, fairly level and not too close to the neighboring site. Can slightly hear the highway in the distance but not annoyingly. A bit overpriced I’d say but I’m not opposed to stay again if in the area.

The entrance definitely needs some work but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

We had a site right next to the mini golf which our kids liked. They also liked the zip line, but unfortunately they closed the entire kid's area that included the zip line while we were there -- I'm not sure why. The bounce pad was also closed while we were there which was disappointing. The section of the park where we were had decent sized sites with a good amount of space between neighbors, but it was noisy being right next to the road. Other sections of the park had sites very close together. I read reviews about the difficult entrance to the park so I was a little concerned about that, but it really wasn't that bad. We entered from the west so that we made a right turn into the park which I think is easier (we have a 43 ft 5th wheel). We enjoyed visiting the zoo from here. Check in was quick and easy and the people who work there are nice and friendly. I appreciated that they let me receive a package while I was there. We travel full-time and work remotely so good internet and cell coverage is important to us. If that's important to you here are the details: AT&T 24.8 dl/13.2 ul, T-Mobile 52.7 dl/9.69 ul, Verizon 39.6 dl/21.0 ul.

It’s a KOA, sites are soooo close together you can hear everything your neighbors say. Sewer hookups right at your picnic table. Not level gravel but mostly just dirt. Grass… just weeds, over grown & patchy.

It is a typical KOA Journey where you are close to your neighbors, but get a consistent KOA experience.
PROS:
Trash pickup
Good wifi
Hunt Brothers Pizza
Proximity to I-80
Friendly staff
CONS:
Packed on weekend
Sites are very close

of full hook ups; for this reason we left a day early. The site we had was a long pull through right off the entrance road and therefore as close to the highway and noise as possible. If we were in the area again, we’d maybe stay here but I’d get a patio site so that we’d be back in the park away from the road. Site was level and there was shade. They pick up your trash, which is nice. Saw a lot of staff around and the office was friendly. This place gets busy on the weekends. AT&T service ok but inconsistent.

I used this campground for just an overnight stay. I didn't have a patio site but would upgrade to that type of site when camping here again. Overall, a good experience for just the one night.

Sadly, we couldn't use the numerous amenities offered due to Covid, but that didn't take away from our enjoyable stay with our family. Of course, some work had to be done, but not having to set up camp gave us the time to do several loads of laundry in the immaculate laundry room. Kid and pet friendly. We will be back!

We found out that this was the only RV Park open in the area so we stopped by and discovered the park had lots of vacant spaces. The office was closed and a note on the door stated that it would remain closed during the pandemic. Anyone that had a reservation is asked to occupy their site and an attendant would check them in curb side. We tried to use their on line booking but it said there was nothing available. We tried to call the after hours line but could not get a real person and any messages left would be not be returned until the following day. There was a box outside of the office that supposedly listed available sites. It was empty. We tried really hard to stay as there was a blizzard on the way. Because we needed to leave early the next morning we decided it best not stay without paying. We ended up staying at the Gretna Walmart parking lot. Walmart was happy to let us stay the night (contact via phone). We rarely stay at KOAs since they target families with children and because of this parks not so great customer service we will really avoid them in the future.
