Did not use the toilets, used our RV toilets. Was a little difficult to get level in spot #7, but we tucked the 22’ sprinter van up close to the picnic table and had plenty of privacy. Hiked in about a mile on the trail in the morning. No real views, but that was to be expected. Very peaceful. We are AT&T. 2 bars. We’re able to stream a show before we went to bed.

The CG was clean, the sites were nice. The vault toilets and some of the picnic tables could use some maintenance. Trash cans, no water. One trail leaving from CG.

Vault toilet was clean and supplied with tt. Camper was a t@g teardrop. Tested my new solar generator recently purchased. Lots of trees so not much chance ruse solar panels. 16 sites w/ fire ring, picnic table and lantern posts. Stayed mid week. 2 other campers besides us. Two bars signal for Verizon. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been wanting to come here for what seems like years and I’m glad I finally made it. The area is well kept and the sites are fairly clean although only a few are level enough for a small TT. I have a 19’ TT which I probably could have squeezed into any of the sites but it wouldn’t have been level. The pit toilets are, well put toilets. Checked them out, I’ve seen better and definitely seen worse. I wouldn’t come here with anything much bigger than a 20’ trailer, but if you’re good with maneuvering you’ll be okay. During hunting season this place is said to get busy, keep that in mind. Access to the Uwharrie trail in the campground as well. This place is only about 65 miles from home for us and has easily become a favorite.
