Overall Rating

No frills, but really nice to be able to see barges on one side and ocean waves on the other side! . Pretty good T-Mobile service, was able to surf internet and stream tv show. Only Porta-John here, which we didn’t use, so don’t know condition. They did empty trash every other day and service Pota-John.

ICW right in front of our site and the Gulf on the other side. Fun to watch the big ships go through. Nothing out here but picnic tables. A great stop from Pt Lavaca to Galveston.

Overall Rating

Large flat parking area with picnic tables, pit toilets, public beach and good Verizon signal. The gulf beach is on one side and a shipping canal is on the inland side with plenty of boat traffic - both sport fishermen and lots of towboats pushing barges. We read somewhere that there is water at some of the picnic sites but we never ... more
