West Lake Crockett Campground

Found this after checking the nearby dispersed site at the boat ramp. Great location right on the lake, clean and cheap at $1/night. Pack in/out (no trash bins), vault toilet, water, and every site has fire ring, lamp post and picnic table. Mosquitoes are pretty bad in the evening, but otherwise a great place!

Stayed here about 10 days at the beginning of November. Temperatures in the high 70/50s. Every site has a table, lantern post, grill, and fire pit. Found this place accidentally. Nice view to the lake, fire places (check if making fire is allowed), metal park benches with rubberized coating, running water tap at the center (no hookups), hole in the ground rest room.
Regular price is $10 per vehicle/day. $5 if you have interagency pass or Golden.

Such a great find, so close to home! No hookups-but fresh water available on the grounds. We were alone in the campground, tho there were signs of past campers who may not have understood “pack in, pack out”. We were pleased with the area and will be back!

We had a nice overnight stay in our Class B. The sites were not numbered that we could find. No hookups, but water and pit toilets onsite. This is a pack in, pack out site; no trash cans or dumpster.
